Still living at home, but finding things difficult?
Care at home is often known as domiciliary care. If you need extra help in your own home, these are just some of the options you might want to consider:
- Ask Social Services to arrange for carers to come in once or several times a day
- Arrange for meals to be delivered to your home
- Ask for visits from a district nurse
- Visit a day care centre
- Organise live-in care
- Discuss the possibility of a family member moving in with you (or vice versa)

Thanks for your response.. that’s reassuring
Can continuing healthcare funding fund a live in carer as an alternative to a care home.
Thanks
Mo
Yes it can Mo – the setting of the care is irrelevant. Kind regards
